![]() Nothing wrong with disliking the mild influence of Wars upon this Trek movie. I am the last one who does not miss folks like the Okudas or Reeves-Stevenses who kept Trek on the sci-fi side and who would not like to see someone else than Orci&Kurtzman writing the next script. |

Star Trek borrowed from Forbidden Planet, Star Wars borrowed from Star Trek, Star Wars success led to TMP, they both existed happily ever after and make fans happy (for the most part) and still do.
It's all just one recycling ground really.
