I was listening to a CD I made a while back today and realized it has 3 TV Show theme song on it. Made me wonder if anyone else was a fan of of TV Themes and which ones?

The CD I was referring to has
"Suicide is Painless" - M*A*S*H
"Beleive it or Not" - Greatest American Hero
And the Theme to Cheers.

Yeah, I quite like the old 1980's TV themes myself

I actually really hate it that shows today don't have proper themes nor do many of them have actual opening credits anymore - just the title card.

My favourites (in no order) include the TV themes to -

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, DS9, Voyager, TNG, The A-Team, Knight Rider, L.A Law, Magnum P.I, Laverne & Shirley, Happy Days, Friends, Alias, The X-Files, Dallas, Dynasty, Family Guy, M*A*S*H, Twin Peaks, Northern Exposure, Due South, Cheers, and probably some more I forget.

Yeah... its sucking because they are cramming more commercial time... but we have internet tv and dvds right? They could make easy cash just by making openning title music. I bought a few and listen to them on my iphone. I collect them on youtube as well.

Besides Star Trek... Knight Rider, A-Team, MacGyver, 21 Jump Street, Greatest American Hero, Who's the Boss, MASH, Perfect Strangers(Balki makes me smile), Taxi, Night Court hmm... lots of good stuff to remember.
