Has to be that moment, just after Spock (Quinto) beams down to the surface of Vulcan, and raises his chin before coming out of his beam-down crouch. It was like seeing the same old Spock (Nimoy) from the 60's all over again, but even better.
Just put the whole feel of the movie into a nutshell for me, really. All that was old, is new again, and WORLDS better!

The rest of the movie was good, but the first fifteen minutes were great. Robeau and George Kirk were some brave, selfless, S.O.B.'s! The death ride of the Kelvin was a gut wrenching thrill and a half. James T. Kirk was born in the center of conflict, where he would be for the rest of his life. If the rest of the film had been as good as the first fifteen minutes, it would have been a classic of the highest caliber.

Mine was when Enterprise rose up out of the plasma cloud. Magnificent and a tad reminiscent of TWOK. Gave me chills.

The first fifteen minutes are now already classic Trek.

It was pretty, but wrong. Titan orbits Saturn along the ring plane.
My favorite bit? The end credits. (Not just to be snarky...) The momment the old theme kicked in and we were "warping" from one world to another... my toes curled! That's when I knew the nect couple of movies held the promise of being honestly kick-butt!
