i am very attached to my parents,i call them every day,never thought about having kids,its too difficult for me,i have problems,sorry i d care not to discuss them,i feel i am not capable of it,if u get to know better u ll know that i am an extremely sensitive but a bit nervous guy,not to mention shy

We still need time to bring family and career together, but the working world is slowly adepting.
But essentially you can't have both, a modern working world and a generations-encompassing family.

As much as I love my parents and the concept of family, when some of your best friends grew up with an abusive father, you are glad that today family is a choice and not an obligation.

But hopefully nowadaw it's the abusers that aren't reproducing cause having a family isn't the social requirement it used to be.

Sometimes it's a bit more complex and a caring father quickly changes into a violent tyrant.

I am a large fan of family if family means people love each other, live together and care for each other. But as real families sometimes have little to do with this idea of family, it's important that we have social institutions which act as substitutes. The kid who gets beaten up by his dad needs to spend as much time in school or out of his home as possible and the old parents who are abandoned by their children need a decent place were someone else cares for them.

Like someone once said, you have two families - the one you were born into and the one you pick for yourself.
