Yes, this site is just one HUGE ad for the movie...but since we do not see any ads from sponsors. I am inclined to agree that Paramount is running this site for a loss....but it will all be worth it, when those Box Office monies start coming in...I wouldn't even mind having to see a few ads, if it meant the board would be here for the next few years, at least...I can't afford to have to pay to join, though...so I hope they keep it going, either as an advertising expense, or by ads/sponsorship....

really though the only thing their really paying for are the domain names and those are rather cheap. all the hosting is probably done as a package deal for all of paramount so they just right one big paycheck for probably about 1TB of space which they divide up for each movie forum. and in a way all the forum members are a sort of "Free" advertisement see they invest in producing this forum and we provide content that promotes their movie. We get a place where we can hang out and make fan community ties.

It's probably a lot cheaper to have a site like this than to buy an ad on TV.

I don't know what site that is, but I'm glad to learn mine outranks someone's!

Only $79k more to go to beat TREK. Doubt I'll pass it before May 8th.
