Point still stands: Trek owns. Most people, just like most critics, will get that.

I dunno, for Ebert to think that Transformers(which I like) is better than Star Trek, it's just, well, CRAZY.

Of course we also have to take into consideration that this could also be due to the deleted scenes not being in the movie which, from what I've heard, provide a lot of backstory.

This is exactly what I was afraid of happening when JJ Abrams said he deleted the scenes.

Looked at "At The Movies" on their web site. It used to go "Two Thumbs Up/Down", but they now say "See It/Rent It/Skip It". The two hosts both said "See It".

Amazing! Now I can't wait to see how this movie earns such uniform reviews!
