It's satire guys. The Onion is always satire.

I think it's more amusing that some of you guys actually took it seriously.

But with all satire, it is based on some truth. Which is somewhat unsettling.

Except some of us have been gritting through the jokes, put downs, slams and belittling for decades Often from so-called "legitimate news". After a while the joke gets stale.

Oh man that is just too funny. Seriously folks, you have to look at satire for what it is and the sometimes pathetic nature of almost everything in the world. If you cant watch this for the silly satire that it is then you have no sense of humor.

If you've been paying attention, you'd realise the news media of today is now on Star Trek's side.

It's cool to be a trekkie in the mainstream news now.

Far enough.

Also, completely off topic but while I'm thinking about it. I've been meaning to ask you...does your user name have anything to do with Death Note? (It's my favorite anime).

Actually no. I've watched Death Note, but in this case, Tenchi Universe.

I just rewatched it again. The satire is more unsettling now, cus all the stuff they're talking about IS the stuff we've been arguing over for the past year.

Now I feel ashamed that the video is even closer to home than I thought.
