I was wondering about the "IMAX Experience". Is it worth the extra money. I'm taking my family so it does add up. We went to see The Dark Knight on an IMAX and only a few scenes were filmed in IMAX so I didn't think it was really such a big deal. Does anyone know how much of Star Trek is filmed in IMAX format (or whatever it's called.)
Thanks

No part of the movie was shot in IMAX.
The Experience of Hollywood Movies shown in IMAX is the Larger Screen, and the 12,000 watts of digital sound that make your chair shake. lol, Our theatres cried so much to get Star Trek in IMAX, that our theatre company made the single worst deal ever with a film company. That is how bad we wanted this movie in IMAX. Eh, plus I guess the fans will get to see it too. |

Yea or Nea on what?
You asked if any of the movie was shot in IMAX, and I told you no. As for if the movie is worth the extra price? Well, people tend to answer that question every time a Hollywood movie is released in IMAX. I guess it is more of a personal opinion. If you did not enjoy Dark Knight in IMAX, then it seems you answered your own question. |
