It was on at 5PM and so I was allowed to watch it before dinner - the only show I was allowed to watch on school days. In fact, I probably caught the first syndication showings - 1973 was when it came back on, right?

Watching Star Trek: The Motion Picture with my dad who grew up enjoying star trek. he's the one who had me throwing up vulcan salutes when i was barely 3.
