I still think the film would have trouble branching out to audiences if they had a film that was based in the prime timeline. With this one, which stays true to events and takes place technically after the events of Nemesis. Hopefully you'll still watch the film to make up your mind, unlike some people that post online.

I think the movie should have a very The Empire Strikes back feel, where everything seems to be going to hell and the heroes have no chance of winning. I'd also like to see what would happen if the Enterprise get divided, each member being send one way. Something very dark, yet, fun.

J.J. Abrams, Robert Orci, Alex Kurtzman, Damon Lindeof and the whole cast and crew back, obviously.
