The new Enterprise took a little getting used to, but seeing her in action, I really like her.

Kind of a stretch to compare her to various incarnations of the Enterprise, tho, don't you think?
I was only comparing her to the original 1701 (TOS, "presurgery") and the new ship in STXI (postsurgery).

Since you refer to post-surgery Pam as "abomination," the same word I use to describe the JJprise...no, not a stretch at all...

Having said that though, they did give her a narrower waist and a boob job. It's funny that I don't like it when they do that stuff to women, but I have no problem that they did it to the Enterprise. Go figure.
Ah, but there is. The original TOS ship is the "natural" Enterprise. She wasn't just designed to fire imaginations, but to also be somewhat believable.

If that were true, she would look like what engineering type folks in the 60's had on the drawing boards for interplanetary ships of the future. She doesn't. Or to be more accurate, she looks like a sexed up version of those plans. So by your standards, the TOS enterprise was a "Pam Anderson" version already. So what's another facelift more or less?
