I worked all last week and got a full check. I went shopping now it is almost gone. I got stuff for the baby, hubby the dogs and myself. I have not done that since I was working full time , it felt good. Being a stay at home mom is great, but when you work and get your own money it's great too, I did miss it.

There's not only the sense of accomplishment, and knowing that you've helped your family, but in this day and age, it's just nice to be employed at all. So many are no longer as fortunate as we who have jobs.

Good for you! And like Monsieur Hood said, all of us who do have a job in these hard times should feel very lucky. I wouldn't want to be working in the auto industry these days...

I knew I was middle aged when a trip to Target was the highlight of my week! (And seriously, it is.) Plus, it's even more fun to shop for your kids!
