"Quantum Leap" was a fabulous show and it was far more successful because the main character actually became the figure in time instead of a mere visitor. That was it's attraction factor along with the humorous aspects of its storytelling.

The Time Tunnel had big production in its science but it became sterile and wooden.

This was a great series and sadly not repeated here in Britain very often. I would only be up for a movie if it was done properly..as Lady Vaako says with a decent script/director etc.

It would be nice if it had a cameo with the old stars if they are still around. It was an impressive series for the most part and the time tunnel itrself was very memorable.

I know this thread is about The Time Tunnel but what I would really like to see made as a movie or remade as a series is "Space 1999". I'm aware that the whole concept of the Moon getting kicked out of its orbit by an explosion is ludicrous but I'm sure someone could come up with a scenario that would actually make sense in order to explain the unfortunate accident.

I absolutely LOVED that show as a kid, even if sometimes it scared the beejeezus out of me.

I enjoyed Space:1999 as well but what would it be called? 1999 rolls off the tongue with its alliteration. Space:2022?

Time Tunnel could be great too.
