I managed to do it without much problem. Just follow the instructions below:

I did it using the free .7zip archival software. Just go to the folder where the .ipa files are kept, then open the .ipa files using 7zip. Extract the payload/images folder to somewhere on your computer, then view them as a slideshow. Worked like a charm. I have Adobe ImageReady and Acrobat on my computer to view the image files, so that might be required...

Also, please delete this post if it is in violation of any terms of service -- that was not at all my intention. I figured that it was OK, as it doesn't circumvent any payment methods; you still have to buy the comic using iTunes.

Yeah I don't have Iphone or Itouch , I'm just going to buy the comics sometime friday after I get out of school my friend works at store and he told they sell them for $3 each (not bad price) I can buy all four of them and get a discount

I went to one comic book store at 1:30 today, they opened at 12, they were sold out!!! They said it was impossible to order Countdown#1 that he had tried. I then went to the other comic book store where they had a few left.

I thought 4 was rather weak compared to the rest. And I didn't care for Worf being impaled by Doc Oc....where did THAT come from?

Overall it was a great set-up to the movie, and didn't leave anything about TNG unexplainable from what has been revealed in the current novels....

Does anyone remember when a photo of the jellyfish was released and was refered to as Spock's "timeship"? Obviously not a timetraveling ship....

Just goes to show you that what we hear, even in "official" releases, isn't always what it appears to be!
