To those who didn't see read my thoughts in another thread to you, buddy, I'll share again on this thread. What you so correctly shared & hoped for Zim in that other thread was that this was not Main Engineering, but some other engineering section in the belly of our favorite, star faring, plasma-burning gal. Be it this version of the Enterprise or TOS, the Enterprise is a BIG SHIP so has more than one engineering area, but just one Main Engineering. I won't mention TNG's Enterprise, because they always talk about her size. Like you, I can buy it--suspend my disbelief, as it were, if it were just her inner workings--her veins and capillaries, so to speak. For it to be Main Engineering though, on a ship this sophisticated (and I'm speaking of both STXI's Enterprise & ST: TOS' Enterprise) would be a stretch for me to suspend my disbelief when I would see it in the film. It wouldn't ruin the film for me, but IF it were Main Engineering, it WOULD make me roll my eyes.

Eh...too white and too blond for me. But, for the record, I think she would be an awesome cameo as Nurse Chapel...she could board the ship right at the end of the second movie and be introduced to the audience...that'd be a wonderful easter egg for the fans.

Of course, TPTB would have to sign Reese on for the third movie....
