Most 80s films are cheesy - the removal of that cheesiness is essential!

I don't mind remakes. Lots of older movies or TV shows could use a good remake. New effects and better storytelling make many remakes stand apart from their "parents".

I am a fan of Robocop. I think a remake would ROCK!!

I enjoy a good character driven drama that really "hit's home" every once in awhile. Unfortunately most movies you describe are boring and hard to sit thru. Americans seem to like fantasy/sci-fi movies because it is an escape more than other types of movies.

I always found it funny how goofily everyone laughed at that TV show. Like in the beginning when Emil and the other guy turn the TV on and just as soon as picture pops up, the laugh. Must be a damn good show.
