Default Spocks Ship

Been away from the forum for a while so I don't know if it has been discussed already. I was looking at the latest trailer, which I think is by far the best, and most likey to get people hooked.
I noticed that ship, that people have alluded to being Spocks timeship, crashing into Neros ship. Could it be that (Old)Spock makes the ultimate sacrifice again and save the day? Just speculating.

I haven't been on this board in along time eaither. I'm on two other Trek boards and only one of them I am on frequently.

Anyway, I have never seen it confirmed that the ship we see crashing is Spock's time ship. I would like to see where that has been confirmed.

Somethings are better left unknown until that day when we are all sitting in the theater watching this unfold.

I agree. I am hungry for knowledge about this movie as anyone else but I am beginning to stay away from spoilers. I want to be surprised when I see the movie.

I think it is a good guess that the small spinning ship is indeed Spock's ship. I too wondered about the crashing of this ship into Nero's ship. It could be an ultimate sacrifice scenerio, but I doubt it. I think I read somehwhere that nothing in this new movie would prevent old Spock from being in another movie. Of course that doesn't mean much in a fictional universe with cloning and Katras!

I hope not. I so, alot of trekkies will be bow-wowing in the theater again. Nimoy is good at death scenes.
