I'm not so sure now about Kirk being born on the Kelvin... if you look at the trailer, you can see the background is the same with Kirk's father on the bridge and Kirk's mother with Kirk in her arms, as well as the scene with Kirk's mother screaming giving birth... hmmmm

There is two scenes: The first in the trailer is of Kirk being born, the second is of Spocks birth, note the attendants have pointy ears.

I dont think so, it looks like the same woman giving birth to Kirk as the woman holding newly born Kirk. The Vulcan next to the screaming woman looks like the same medical tech in the white uniform handing Kirk to his mother. In the first full tailer, Spocks mother has dark brown hair, not blond. Just because the medical tech has pointed ears doesn't make that Spock

We'll just have to wait and see for sure...

Did a double check. Your are correct. Mole/mark on left cheek in same spot. Interesting that we have a Vulcan Med Tech.
