Spacedocks being as big as they are probably have doors all around the thing to accommodate ships of all sizes.
Me, having the brain that I have, I can't enjoy an episode with flaws in it like that. I mean, take out those sequences and it's an enjoyable episode for sure. OCD, ADHD, whatever... man, I'm screwed up.
