I'm guessing not, since the style of the board seems to operate on a percentage of the browser's current width (I'm guessing 80%). Unless there's a way to customize this for each user, the best you can do is maximize your browser window to make it as wide as possible.

I know the glow graphics around the perimeter look cool, but perhaps a narrower version of them with a wider display width might be possible to retain the effect.

I still like the new style, though.

We (Myself and the designer for this skin - Mark Lambert, a fellow forum user) are working on addressing some of the main concerns here, mainly:

* Spoiler Tag
* Unread Posts coming in a new color instead of just Bold/Unbold
* Fluid width forums (allowing resize)
* Improved smileys for black backgrounds. (But no Trek smileys at this point but if anyone has some you want to suggest, I'd be happy to consider them!)
