That shot you have there on your avatar Jed is one of the more beautiful sights in science fiction.

I also enjoyed how they kept to slight reality by having silence in space but made it so the silent scenes weren't mind numbingly boring.

I use the Serenity Theme as a ringtone. Yea the Firefly class ship is pretty when it flys.

All together now:

#Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand.
But you can't take the skies from me,
For I have Serenity...#

My mum used that as her ringtone as well, for a while after Serenity was in cinemas.

Edit:

Okay, so I paraphrased: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=LrAS20mNZUE

Still beautiful though...

You guys probably already know this but QMx is developing a Serenity Large Scale Replica. It should be available sometime later this year. They have a website that lets us follow along in its development.

Finally! A model that I'd be willing to pony up $300 bucks to buy!

Well,,,,,,,,, it is not going to be a model kit but an artisan replica, which means it will be a "Film Quality" collectible. Each unit will be individually assembled and hand painted right here in the U.S. by the FX Company, which makes miniatures for film, television and industry (link below). QMx hasn't yet set a price but I think it will be more than $300.00 but we can hope.
