Default The NEW FRONTIER Book Series

So...
Is anyone else here a fan of the Peter David series NEW FRONTIER?
I myself am a huge fan, and wish SOMEbody would make an Animated series based on the adventure of Captain Calhoun and the Excalibur!
The comic books have been good as well!
So whaddya think??

Heck yeah! Peter David's New Frontier is a high adrenaline, action packed series of books with a great cast of characters and great storylines. Because they do move at such a fast pace and are so entertaining, they make for fast reading and leave you anxious to read the next one. Kind of addictive actually. Mackenzie Calhoun and the cast of Excalibur are a great addition to the franchise (not to mention all the characters in New Frontier who came from the Star Trek universe like Shelby and Lefler) and I'd very much like to see a version of it on the small screen. Animation may be the way to go, even a straight to dvd movie format. I hope New Frontier is around for years to come!

I'm way behind on the books, having only read the first four when they came out, but I remember them as great stuff. But with Peter David writing, how could it not be. I've been trying to find time to catch up, but there's so many books now, I doubt I can. But I'm a weekly comic book reader, so I'd be adding the new NF comic books when they come out to my to-buy list.

I'm a little behind (I've only read as far as "Being Human") but I'd love to see a New Frontier series...

Only ever read one, and that was the Mirror Universe one in "Obsidian Alliances".

It was ok. I suppose. Didn't really get much more beyond ok. (I'd say in that particular book it was better than the Voyager story and not as good as the DS9 story.)
