Another thing to keep in mind: that video/still does NOT show Zach in makeup, just with shaved brows. Expect the final on-screen character look to be substantially enhanced with artful makeup as Spock.

Oh, I have no real issues with his look (and, yes...I went back to look at Nimoy in Patterns of Force and Quinto's shoulders aren't that bad...I still think they are slimmer, but that might be his fashion sense showing through), it's the voice that is the concern. However, as noted above, his laugh just totally sounded like those times Spock's character laughed (or, Spock inhabited by an alien laughed)....and that gives me a lot of hope...I was very wary of Simon Pegg until I saw a scene from MI3 in which he moved exactly like Scotty...
My gut feeling is that Abrams knows what he's doing. |

Grief...I really hope this is not the finished product on the brow issue....

Goodness, no! Nimoy had his eyebrows partly shaved like Quinto has, so the make up artist could add the fake eyebrows on there at the angle that swoops up. No reason to think they'd be doing that any differently, and Quinto obviously isn't in Vulcan make up in that video.
