Well, it was mentioned that Jim is the only one who refers to his brother as Sam... for Samuel. Not to mention that Shatner played him briefly.

Given your approach to classic TREK canon, I thought you'd have known about it. Thanks for clarifying.

What are Little Girls Made Of stated that JTK's brother was named George Samuel Kirk, called "Sam" by James only, possibly to distinguish him from their father, GSK Sr.

Which would you prefer I write for a TOS prequel? Television episode or feature film?

I wouldn't mind a TV episode/pilot sorta thing.

You write huh? I tried that back in about 1996ish... as I recall. I wrote a Voyager script called "Exodus" and sent it in and even got to speak with Jeri Taylor and a couple other producers about it on a conference call... it didn't sell but they did at least talk with me about it. I even kept the paper work and the returned script with 'review date' stamps on it... and of course the Voyager Writer's Bible. Shame they didn't buy it, it woulda closed a left open hole as to what happened to Geordi's mom. (VOY/TNG crossover story)

Now I know.

Well I may have seemed hostile to The Saint, but I look forward with interest to his effort.

I'm so tired of episodic television anymore that I prefer a mini-series of no less than 3 but no more than 5 parts total.

I do think that there is plenty of creative room in canon to explore the pre-TOS era without completely trampling on canon. Of course I personally only consider ''hard-core'' canon to be content in the original series.

As for page count, I just got tired of Star Trek never getting the epic treatment it deserved. I know when I changed gears on the STSOP screenplay from feature to mini-series and then back to the ''retired'' feature screenplay, the page count had jumped to just short of 200-pages. I'm totally fine with that.

Write a book. Unless you have connections (which you may have) getting a TV or movie script purchased is typically an exercise in futility.
