In the beginning of the series, we didn't know his name, so he was named HRG. When he was finally shown as Claire's father, then we knew.

I forgot about that episode....that was a pretty cool twist!

LOL...."The Eclipse" aired last night here. I personally haven't watched it yet (thank you oh great inventor of the DVR!!!), but I think he's pretending to be on the bad side.

On Heroes it's really difficult to tell the good side from the bad. It's more like really bad versus just sort of bad.
