Okay...that actually makes my head hurt...

THOUGH, it could explain why Spock didn't bother to leave instructions regarding disposal of his body. It never made sense to me that Star Fleet didn't have a "return body to Vulcan" instructions--along with "someone will likely be acting weird....bring that person to Vulcan too"---
