i can't make out the face in the top left, but for the others I am getting Data, Spock and Picard? Is this right, and if so who is the other face? Nero?

Just giving this a little thought before I go to sleep, You never know it could be the case that in part the story is told from the point of view of B4 as he trys to assimilate all the infomation that has been uploaded into his primative nerual net from Data.

For the lack of better examples: Rorschach diary snippets at the beginning of some of the chapters in the Watchmen.

The flashbacks from Unification to help the non-affilated understand some of the history, as B4 slowly puts the pieces back into the right order, Whilst going along way to also explaining the "return" of an almost fully function Data post-nemesis for us oldies....

One would assume a non-tattooed Nero?

Looks like Nero and thus it resembles the movie poster:

If so, then it certainly implies that Nero's markings are NOT a standard Romulan look, and that they set him apart deliberately (for one reason or another).

It might also be interesting to see whether all Romulans will be ridgeless in the 24th century or whether a caste story or something similar will be told (unlikely IMO).
I prefer the TNG Romulans, but in the context of continuing the Unification plot and Spock's underground work, smooth Romulans just make more sense, although on the other hand, the Tal Shiar would to a bad job if they'd not trace Spock's actions and know the very moment when he sets foot on Romulus.

Is there a link to what we're all looking at here?

Does that mean Patrick Stewart will make a cameo appearance? That would be awesome.

I would say that this probably is a pre-Nemesis comic. But keep in mind this is a 4 part comic series. Certainly no reason why these comics can't lead up to the Nemesis events, and then Nero's part in "Star Trek" is post-Nemesis as has been suggested all along.
