xD I sometimes wonder what it's like for House fans who, unlike yourself, aren't familiar with Hugh Laurie's earlier work. Even House creator Bryan Singer didn't realise Laurie's not American until after casting him...

Looks like I'm in the majority here...

1) House... but then, I've always loved Sherlock Holmes... they just took that character and gave him an M.D.

2) The Universe... I like having my mind blown on a weekly basis.

3) Doctor Who... Easily the greatest televised science fantasy of all time.

runner up: BSG... other people will be watching football this turkey day... me, I'm gonna be glued to sci fi channel.

I never could get into the new BSG... and yes, I did give it more than a chance. It just... didn't grab me. *shrug* With House... the central character isn't all that interesting to me, probably because I get compared to that character personally -- a lot. What keeps me interested, though, is figuring out each week's mystery by the Midpoint beat. The dialogue is good, and the reactions to House on the part of the other characters are fun to watch.
