Something has been said about the Enterprise having been last to the scene of the battle at Vulcan and that they find all the destroyed Fed ships. Its just conjecture but
I think the Kelvins in the beginning of the film from what I hear.

Good catch Saq I think they ARE nacelles and starship parts.

That phaser of Kirk's looks like a 23rd century .357 Magnum revolver. "Go ahead Romulan, make my day!".

My pleasure and thanks! When watching the trailer, I had this issue where everything just blended together. It is literally like a thousand little 4 or 5 frame blips strung together. There is a ton if information to process in a short time and yet the trailer has a a wealth of cool information to show us. I wonder if JJ knew that it might be analyzed with a fine tooth comb.
