Ok, being a person who truely does hate star trek, I watched the new trailer in 720HD this morning cause the teaser was good. After I watched the new trailer, the first thing that came to mind was


HOLY <BAD WORDS THAT MAKE REDSHIRT CRINGE>

This film looks freaking awesome, like OMG lol
The special effects are literally jaw dropping, this is going to be soooooo epic wow...I was completely blown away. I can`t wait to see this movie... jesus that was crazy lol

The trailer is fantastic! I believed in this movie from day one. It looks like JJ and his team hit a home run with this film.

I am so excited to see the real Star Trek characters back! They are by far the best characters in my opinion. There wouldn't be any spin offs without the original!!!!

Now everyone can see the masterpiece that Roddenberry created in it's glory! New generations of fans can appreciate the original!!!!

JJ is the MAN! He saved this franchise by bringing it back to it's roots!

Well sex sells unfortunately. And it's going to be mostly male viewer ship. But she can use here boobies as a way to control men as well.

Sex sells because it's part of being human, and an enjoyable part at that.

I heard an interview with Gene Roddenberry where he stated that there was nothing wrong with using Women as sex objects.

He then goes on to point out that he's been used as a Sex Object as well and that it was great fun.

I'm not saying sex appeal isn't a wonderful thing. I'm all for naked people running around all over the universe and getting busy. Betazed weddings totally rock!

But.

If this was a movie about 21st century naval officers in the Persian Gulf, would we need a female lieutenant to take off her shirt for us? I think most Annapolis grads would laugh and then stuff you down a gun tube. (Pun intended.)

Just keep it even. We ladies like our beefcake too.
