Heads Up To "Quantum of Solace" Movie Goers
Just a quick heads up, it might be worth calling ahead to your local cinema to see if they are showing the new Star Trek trailer in front of Bond.
Apparently many cinemas are mixing and matching what they show. So far a few reports say there wasn't a trailer for Trek or even Watchmen in front of Bond in the U.S. Luckily there seem to be several so far who did! It appears to be dependent on your local cinema or its chain. JUST a fair warning. So the gist of it.. CALL AHEAD. Boy I can attest to that! Definitely call, especially if that's more the reason you want to see Bond, obviously. I went tonight and no Trek trailer!

Denied!
Grrr! Went to see the Bond film and no Trek trailer. There were previews from WB, MGM, and Universal, but no Paramount. Oh well, me and the 5 others in the empty theater got to see a plotless Bond film.

Re: ST trailer--it pays to call your theatre!
I got curious as to whether the ST trailer is being shown in a local theatre here that we frequent and so I called. They took the time to check and make sure that they will know which theatres it's being featured in.
If you have any doubts about the trailer being in QOS, call your theatre. My phone call paid off and if anything else, it might encourage those that aren't featuring it to put it in there.

I'm glad you suggested that SS. I called my theater and the manager actually put me on hold to go check. He said the projectionist told him that the ST Trailer was showing with all Bonds, EXCEPT THE MEGA SCREEN! I would have certainly bought tickets for this screen had I not called ahead. Maybe the resolution of the trailer is not good enough for a huge screen.

I just called every theater in town, I live in Fayetteville, NC, USA. Four theaters are showing the movie, but only 1 (Wynnsong 7) is airing the trailer, and for this week only. After that the trailer gets pulled until they have a horror/scifi movie to put it in front of. I'll go again later today and try to sneak in my HD vid cam in. Don't know if I'll be successful considering how bulky it is.
