it's been 13 years since I last used 3D max (omg, i'm feeling old) so I'm having to relearn from scratch..... but I'm glad I can render faster on my home computer than I used to by networking 26 intel 386's.

Sad, why so dude?
Because it's so nice and such a good example of how good TOS Enterprise could look on screen and I have no faith that Abrams et al. will do as good a job.

UPDATE:

This is why the deg3D Enterprise makes me sad. We get this

instead of deg3D's version.

It's a sad, sad day indeed.

Wait a sec, is that an actual shot of the Star Trek XI E??? Did they finally release a shot of it then? Where did you get that? If that is new/old E, I gotta say, she's a nice model and all no doubt, but I do not care for what they have done with her lines. They're OK-aaaaa, and I'm sure I will love the film, and I'm happy someone had the gumption to bring ST back to life.

Anywho, glad you like mine so much, and I of course share your view of how E should look, and that her timeless TOS grace and look can still easily holds up today, if done right (as I believe I've shown). I just mean, why reinvent the wheel eh?
