Fan, I understand your anger, that they did not introduce a homosexual character, but I doubt that makes them homophobic jerks.
They wrote an episode for ENT, Stigma, which dealt with labeling AIDS the 'gay disease'. |

It's a tangent, but a homosexual couple would be simple to write for Star Trek.
All one needs to do is combine the romance of Odo/Kira with the friendship of O'Brien/Bashir and that's it. Done and dusted. Easy. |
