The video playback in that was the only bit that really freaked me a lot, plus Sam Neill in full cut open and bloodied make-up at the very end.

It's funny you said that, because I love Sunshine, but when I first saw the trailer for it, the first thing I did was watch Event Horizon!! At that time it seemed a match. Sunshine ended up quite different in the end but...!

Haha yeh. I actually quite liked Sunshine. It had a good balance of sci and fi if you know what I mean.

I think it veered to much into horror flick chase mode at the end, but it started off really well.

Sunshine was one of the best movies ive ever seen. and i dare you all to watch the halloween movies on halloween.

I still enjoy ghost stories like The Others, or The Shining, they work best for me. But one of the few films that actually gave me weird freaky dreams was actually the 2004 US remake of The Grudge - something about that creepy kid and the human creature moving down the stairs somehow just gave me bad dreams the night I saw it. That doesn't often happen with me.
