That seems true enough. It's the waiting to get well and the constant vigilance in taking one's prescribed medications and following Doctor's orders that is bad because it takes so long and drags on and on. However, recalling the wreck itself is almost, if not as bad. I recall driving down that dirt backroad and climbing a steep hill at a nominal rate of speed. When i got to the top there was the other vehicle climbing toward me at a similar pace about two car lengths away. There wasn't time to stop, swerve, pull over,or anything else. Just that horrible impact and sickening crunch that turned my car into something resembling a non-assembled lego set, and my face into hamburger.

WilliamLX: That is a tough lot you've got there sir, and no mistake. And i do not envy you in the slightest, Sir.

Hope you feel better, rest as much as you can, the swelling will go down in time. Best wishes and take all your meds
