At the end of the day the film is now nearly completed. Whatever has been done, is done and come May, we'll all either like it or not. It's not changing whatever it's done now.

I agree with #2 and am hoping for #3. I'm pretty sure #1 is impossible ..... With the Trek Experience in Vegas and All the shows and movies on DVD there will always be interest in Star Trek and there will always be someone (Like J.J.) in show biz who will want to continue or "re-boot" it.
