Default Boston Legal - A Star Trek Refuge?

You know, I just recently got into Bostol Legal and I've noticed that alot of the BL alumni are from Star Trek.

William Shatner - Denny Crane

Rene Auberjonois - Paul Lewiston

Armin Shimmerman - Judge Brian Hooper

The list goes on and on: http://www.boston-legal.org/startrek/alumni-list.pdf

And the best scene ever in the show was in the 3rd season where Paul Lewiston and Judge Brian Hooper ((Quark and Odo)) face off in the Judge's chambers...and Paul says to Brian, "You and I have been friends for a very....very long time." And he says it in an Odo type voice. It was a great moment.

Ok, so how many Stargate cast have been on? Besides Spader, the original Daniel Jackson, I mean.

Yeah he's the only one from Stargate I have seen on there.

Also..did you know that he said that the Stargate script was, "Embarassingly silly but worth an actor of my caliber propping it up."

Where does one get that kinda sweet sweet arrogance? I mean that's so arrogant.....it's embarassing.

Ah, but how many actors from other series which were either cancelled, or had finished their run, have ended up on Stargate? It seems to be a refuge for Farscape, Firefly, and X-Files.

Too True Too True. But then again Stargate is an amazing series that has had a long and fruitful life and...just like Boston legal...allows very creative people to have an outlet.

The same as Battlestar Galactica. Which..by the way..is coming back on in 4 months and I cannot WAIT.

I wish Star Trek would do a reboot JUST LIKE BSG....very serious.

He was probably in-character as Alan Shore.
