Trekkie Vs Trekker - The Debate Goes On
I have found this to be a very funny subject, there has been so much debate over this issue! lol, I used to be proud of the name 'Trekkie', but since a few months ago I have been thinking about it more, and I really don't know which one I like. Some Trek fans think of the name 'Trekkie' as an insult, some wear it as a badge of honor. If someone who isn't a Star Trek fan sees the word 'Trekker' they wouldn't know what the heck it meant, it could mean a number of things. Going back to 'Trekkie', people know exactly what it is and who they are lol. I just want to know your opinions on this...

Trekkie = TOS/TNG Trekker = DS9/VOY/ENT

"Trekkie" - Devoted to TOS only. "Trekker" - Fan of all of the Trek series. As a Klingon, if I was a "Trekkie" I would have a smooth forehead. But I have grown. I have found that to grow, you must "Trek" forward and not live in only the past. I am a "Trekker" and proud to wear my bumpy forehead. Qapla'
