When you post, under your username, you are given a rank. What way does that work out, I guess its to do with the number of posts?
Also, will this site be staying on for STII/XII, or will we all be starting over again on a new site?

Your rank is determined by the number of posts you have made. Everyone starts off as a midshipman.

Somewhere there's a thread that lists the # of posts for each rank. Or, you can go to the member's list, sort it by # of posts, and get a general idea.
