Good stuff.
![]() On a serious note, reports I read said it was caused by power company shutting down two nuclear reactors for undisclosed "safety reasons." That's just plain scary.

The news said it all started with a LITTLE sub station that went down that then caused those 2 power plants to shut down automatically thinking their was a safety issue.
THEN... the problem spread to a couple of other power plants. So, when it was all said and done over half the state did not have power for a while because a Transformer Blew at a Sub station. Is it possible to just saw Florida off the US and let them become their own country, and island? ![]() |

Thanks for the update, Sir Num. I hadn't seen a final summary of events yet, but one quote I read earlier in the day from an official said, to the effect, "the system worked just like it was supposed to work."
What, crashing across the board from one blown transformer? Apparently their system was engineered by Cascading Collapse and Falling Dominoes, Inc.!
