how can ayel be so careless,he picked kirk up so gracefully yet he literally gave his disruptor away,disappointing as a henchman,wouldnt u say?

Sadly yes, my main criticism of the movie comes from the terrible Romulan performance towards the end. Mindless and apparently brainless. A travesty which made Nero the whipping boy of fans throughout.
Oh well, he got to destroy 50 ships and 1 planet, so he is the best Trek Villan ever
