That was very generous of him. I loved the Mozart comment. That balances out Bale's tirade. But I am suprised to that Rotten Tomatoes STILL doesn't have a single review up for T-4. Star Trek had reviews up weeks prior to the movie. This is a bad sign. They must still be editing the final cut. Yikes.

Not to so for nearly every other film made, and T:S fits that category. They just had the premiere a few days ago. We'll read more about it this coming week. And indeed, studios often use every minute they can to finish a film. Many stories have been told where first premieres of films start playing on screen without the last reel of the film being in the theater yet. You'd be surprised how often studios cut it that close on film post-production.

I really look forward to T4, the idea of a machine that thinks he is human gives me hope that T4 can develop quite a good, complex story, at least for that kind of movie. With Bale as Connor they made a very important decision.

What's your take on McG? Some reviewers have given him a bad rap. I thought he did a good job with "We are Marshall." Appreciated his comments on Trek and I'll be there for T4.

That said, while I don't like the first, I do love the second. If I just want to watch something totally stupid, it goes in the DVD player! We are Marshall I've never seen (I think it was either not released in UK cinemas or was very limited, but I know it was a complete departure from his first two films). I know he's been involved in TV production (The O.C, Supernatural) but I don't think he has a lot of creative input in them. He doesn't showrun them or anything, so hard to judge even though I like both those shows. In short, the jury is out for me. But the trailers are indeed very, very tempting and I think he's worth a shot until I see the film.

I am looking forward to t4 also. I saw the trailer a few weeks ago, and told my wife about it. She said that she had no desire to see another "sorry" terminator movie. When she saw the trailer that played with Star Trek, she changed her mind quickly.

I have no idea who McG is, but as you said in your post, I now know he did We are Marshall(by the way I haven't seen it.)
