My ST-Inspired Car...
Here's my Star Trek inspired car, which I just debuted at the sneak preview of ST:XI a few days ago and thought that I'd share it with you guys here.
    More pics available at my website... First off, a bit of background on license plate numbering in Malaysia: The 1st letter designates one of the states in Malaysia, and the number runs from 1 until 9999. After 9999, the 3rd letter changes... and when the 3rd letter reaches Z, the 2nd letter changes. Once a particular number has passed and not taken, it can never be taken. 'N' belongs to a state 500km away from my home, but my dealer in that state managed to get me a NCC number... (Was waiting since NBM...) So, the first question you guys will ask is what happened to NCC-1701? Another Trekkie beat me to it after bidding a really *really* large amount... Sigh... (He hasn't really done any mods to it yet, though...) And why NCC-1764? Well, ENT is my favourite of all the series... *ducks* And the only NCC to appear in ENT besides NCC-1701J is the Defiant, so that's what I got. Besides, it's cool to say, "Honey, you drive the old car to work, I'm taking the Defiant..." Anyway, after getting an NCC plate, it'd be quite a shame if I didn't add anything Trek to it - so I did. It's still a work in progress - plan to add a viewscreen inside and maybe a warp core in the boot (i.e. a really cool subwoofer, for example)... XD Last edited by emlscs : 05-04-2009 at 09:50 PM. The make is Malaysia's own Proton. The model is Gen2 CPS.
And the coolest thing is that the black/red interior is stock! 8D Although the UFP logos were custom made.

Love them nacelles.
I would do it to my own car, but it's A) red and B) co-owned with my non-Trekkie twin, and she would kill me if I stuck nacelles to our car. Perhaps I can just pretend that it's a shuttlecraft...
