I didn't see any mention regarding whther or not Shatner attended. I would hope that past Trek "alumni" would attend if possible. I wonder if Patrick Stewart was able to attend.

Marina Sertis and Jonathan Frakes were there, as was Walter Koenig. No Shatner that I know of. I think someone said Patrick Stewart had a play running London through June or something, so he wasn't there.

Nice to see some Trek actors there, TNG, TOS, wonder if any DS9, VOY or ENT made it?

None that I've seen mentioned yet.

That pavillion is cool and must have cost a small fortune! Neat pictures!

So, it looks like Shatner didn't attend. But, hey, Heidi Klum appears to be a Trek fan! Who knew? (My gf loves her Project Runway show so I'm going to give her some grief over that... )

I watched a bit of the live from the red carpet streaming during work. Saw Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis - both looking great. Lots of folks from Heroes out to support Zach, which was very nice.

I'm really shocked by Shatner's attitude. Whereas Nimoy is being very Spock like in his handing over his character to Quinto, I think Shatner isn't acting like Kirk at all. Maybe he's acting like Kirk when he was possessed by that crazy, hysterical woman... what was that episode's name "Turnabout Intruder" or something... but certainly not behaving like the Captain Kirk we love and respect. It's sad. He has everything yet cannot show an ounce of generosity.

I'm very disappointed in him too right now. Disappointed but not surprised.I wasn't expecting him to be terribly gracious about it. I love the Shat but that ego is something else sometimes.

I'm always worried about how Chris Pine must feel about the complete LACK of support and graciousness. No matter, I think Chris is doing just fine on his own.
