Does anyone know what is going on with Steven Spielberg's proposed remake of "When Worlds Collide?" I've not heard any news about the movie in over a year. The only thing I would suspect is holding things up is his work with the fourth "Indiana Jones" movie. Any thoughts or answers anyone?

Is Speilberg going to remake ALL the George Pal properties?? Dear god, please don't let Will Smith or Tom Cruise be cast in them.
If he does make this movie, I wonder if he'll leave room to make a sequel from the second book, After Worlds Collide. |

I was going to say, didn't he learn from War of the Worlds?
I just watched that again Saturday...didn't s*ck but wasn't great...the scenes with the whacko in the basement are what really dragged that movie down. Cut those shorter and it's not so bad.
