Default Patrick McGoohan, RIP

Man, THIS is a bummer. He recently suffered a short illness. Being 80, it hit him a lot harder than they had originally thought. Some of his roles:

The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh
John Drake, "Secret Agent"
Number Six "The Prisoner"
The doctor who created the "Scanners"
and Longshanks, in "Braveheart"

What a horrible day.....

McGoohan did a memorable episode of Columbo....the only one in which the solution was not known at the start of the show....watching him and Peter Falk spar was great (actually, he appeared in 2 episodes, I just learned while checking spellings....)

RIP and thank you for everything.

Very sad to hear it. I regard The Prisoner as one of the best series ever made. PM had a most engaging acting style that kept me riveted.
