Does anyone know how the ranking system works, how many posts per rank?
Just wondering, because it seems different from the system on another forum I post on on.

If you go to the "Comments and Suggestions" area, I think there's a thread that lists them. It's an old one so you might have to go back a bit.

no one should know post numbers per rank. It makes people who are post w****s post more and that's annoying.

on another board I frequent, there's this buy who literally stays on that board all day and all night making useless posts.

For example: Someone posts a new topic: "Have you ever tried turtle wax?" to which he'll reply, "no" just to pad his post count. He'll post 500-700 times per week.
