I just checked-out the widescreen special edition of Nemesis, and I've got to say I was impressed with the film. I just think the ending was a little rushed, but the film as a whole was great. I loved the use of lighting and shadows. I remember seeing it on December 13, 2002 and just being amazed at seeing the crew of The Next Generation on the big screen. I have the DVD on fullscreen, but after seeing it on widescreen for the first time (since watching it in theatres) I have begun to grow on it, and enjoy Shinzon as a villain.

I think Nemesis is underrated. I saw this film in the theater on opening weekend and was not all that impressed. However, since that time I have seen it at least six times in widescreen DVD and it has really grown on me to where it is now one of my favorite of the TNG movies. Not as good as First Contact but not as bad as Generations (and Generations is really not that bad either).

They say that if a film does not have you within the first ten minutes then it has lost. I was bored crapless well past that point. The scene where they find data's brother i thought was dumb. The name B4 even dumber. The chase scene unconvincing and silly.
Ramming a starship into another ship would kill half the crew so very bad idea.
Data's sacrifice predictable after downloading his brain into his brother and with such a long part of the film just to set that up.
I think you really have to love the characters enough to enjoy this. nothing wrong with that but i don't think it could be classed as a good film.

No, unfortunately not.
The Special Editions has more Special Features. Interviews, film-comments, Making ofs and all that stuff.
Most importantly: All scenes which were cut.
Just watch them with the commentary of Baird and Berman. I bet you´re willing to kill them afterwards.

Well, here I am... still, old friend! The answer to this question was: Star Trek. I wanted to know if and how Voyager gets home. I wanted to know how the dominion war ends. And of course I wanted to see more TNG movies!

well I am afraid, I don´t agree. Nemesis had some great technically scenes (e.g. the lighting, the space-fight scenes, etc.), but the story was just incredibly lame, and hello, the Archos? Wheels in the 24. century. One of the biggest goofs of Star Trek history!!
The story had potential, if you would have developed the conflict between the romulans and the Federation. But no, they just fell back in showing a totally boring action movie, not different to any Sci-Fi or Action movie.

It was a very big disappointment!

Just because it's the 24th century doesn't mean you cant use a ATV :P How else would you get around besides flying around a shuttle? Besides, it's not it broke anything 'canon' wise, so technically, it's part of the canon now since its star trek from paramount... reguardless of how you feel lol They could've made it took a little more futuristic though
