Default A 1960 Red Corvette?

Did you hear they are using a 1960 red corvette in filming of star trek XI?
Wonder what it's for?

If you think about it (as seen in STII:TWOK) Kirk collects antiques and stuff from the past, as part of his childhood maybe he collected cool antique cars.

I think this should have been marked as a *Spoiler Thread* out of respect for other members rather than just mentioning the subject in the Title Header.

Or maybe it's a "red herring" to throw off photographers they know are hiding in the bushes?
