So today I found out from the J. Michael Strazynski FB page that Michael O'Hare passed away today. I really enjoyed watching him and still do to this day playing the first commander of Babylon 5. His voice and calm mannerisms will be missed.

Sad news. Loved Babylon 5. O'hare's acting was a little wooden though, but I got used to it.

RIP Mr. O'Hare. My condolences to his family and friends. Very sad indeed.

I never know how to respond to news like this. I've never met him personally. I suppose it is sad, yet if it were truly sad we'd be overcome with sadness and never live our lives as each minute brings more people coming and passing than we ever know. Still he will be missed.
"Personally, I find it the best part of the day. The time I really learned to appreciate mornings was during the three years I spent being taught by Jesuits. We used to get up at five o'clock every morning for sunrise mass. Then an hour of meditation before class. We would sit, quiet, at peace. Breathing in, breathing out. Breathing in, breathing out. Breathing in, breathing out." |
